1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TheraLink, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Description of Service
TheraLink is an online marketplace that connects patients with Speech-Language Pathologists in Malaysia. We provide:
- A platform for finding and booking speech therapy appointments
- Tools for managing appointments, payments, and communications
- Support for virtual, clinic-based, and home-visit appointments
Important: TheraLink is a marketplace platform. We do not provide speech therapy services directly. Therapists on our platform are independent professionals responsible for their own services.
3. User Accounts
Registration
To use our services, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
Account Types
- Patient Accounts: For individuals seeking speech therapy services
- Therapist Accounts: For licensed Speech-Language Pathologists offering services
Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
4. Therapist Verification
All therapists must provide valid credentials and registration information for verification. We review credentials before approving therapist accounts, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of all information provided by therapists.
5. Booking and Appointments
Booking Process
- Patients book appointments using tokens purchased on the platform
- Appointments require therapist confirmation
- Once confirmed, both parties are expected to honor the appointment
Cancellation Policy
- Patients may cancel appointments more than 24 hours before for a full token refund
- Cancellations less than 24 hours before receive no refund
- Therapist cancellations result in full patient refunds

6. Payments and Tokens
Token System
- Tokens are used to book appointments on the platform
- Tokens are purchased in Malaysian Ringgit (RM)
- All token purchases are final and non-refundable for cash
- Tokens do not expire
Payment Processing
Payments are processed securely through Billplz. By making a purchase, you agree to Billplz's terms of service.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to circumvent the platform to arrange appointments directly
- Share your account credentials with others
- Post inappropriate content or reviews
8. Reviews and Feedback
Patients may leave reviews after completed appointments. Reviews must be:
- Based on genuine experiences
- Honest and accurate
- Free from offensive language or personal attacks
We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on TheraLink, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by TheraLink or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.
10. Limitation of Liability
TheraLink acts as a marketplace connecting patients and therapists. We are not responsible for:
- The quality of services provided by therapists
- Medical outcomes or advice provided during sessions
- Disputes between patients and therapists
- Technical issues affecting virtual appointments
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for tokens on the platform.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
TheraLink is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or that the platform will meet all your requirements.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold TheraLink harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
